Alligator Bet
A guy walked into a bar with a pet alligator by his side. He put the alligator up on the bar and turned to the astonished patrons."I'll make you a deal. I'll open this alligator's mouth and place my genitals inside. Then the gator will close his mouth for one minute. He'll then open his mouth and I'll remove my unit unscathed. In return for witnessing this spectacle, each of you will buy me a drink."
The crowd murmured their approval. The man stood up on the bar, dropped his trousers, and placed his privates in the alligator's open mouth. The gator closed his mouth as the crowd gasped. After a minute, the man grabbed a beer bottle and rapped the alligator hard on the top of its head. The gator opened his mouth and the man removed his genital, unscathed as promised. The crowd cheered and the first of his free drinks was delivered. The man stood up again and made another offer.
"I'll pay anyone $100 who's willing to give it a try." A hush fell over the crowd.
After a while, a hand went up in the back of the bar. A woman timidly spoke up, "I'll try, but you have to promise not to hit me on the head with the beer bottle."
ワニで賭け
男がペットのワニを連れてバーに入って行く。彼はワニをカウンターの上に置くと驚いている店の主人の方を向く。「賭けをしよう。このワニの口を開けておれのモノを中に入れるよ。それでワニは一分間口を閉じる。それからワニは口を開けておれはおれのモノを傷一つ無く取り出す。このちょっとしたショウを見る代わりに君ら一人一人がおれに一杯ご馳走してくれ。」
周りのみんなが口々にいいぞとつぶやく。男はカウンターの上に立ち、ズボンを下ろし、彼のモノをワニの開いた口に置く。ワニは口を閉じ、観衆は息を呑む。一分後、男はビールのビンを掴みワニの頭のてっぺんを強く殴る。ワニは口を開け男は彼のモノを取り出す、約束したように傷一つついていない。観衆は歓声をあげ、男に飲み物が渡される。男はもう一度立ちあがり、もう一つの賭けを申し出る。
「誰かやりたい奴がいたら１００ドル払ってやるぜ。」周りは静かになってしまう。
しばらくして、バーの後ろの方で手があがる。一人の女性がおびえた声でしゃべる、「やってみるわ、だけどビールのビンで頭を殴ったりしないって約束してね。」
