Emergency Exit
A Brunette, a Redhead and a Blonde escape a burning building by climbing to the roof. Firemen are on the street below, holding a blanket for them to jump in. The firemen yell to the Brunette, "Jump! Jump! It's your only chance to survive!" The Brunette jumps and SWISH! The firemen yank the blanket away. The Brunette slams into the sidewalk like a tomato."C'mon! Jump! You gotta jump!" say the firemen to the Redhead.
"Oh no! You're gonna pull the blanket away!" says the Redhead.
"No! It's Brunettes we can't stand! We're OK with Redheads!"
"OK," says the Redhead, and she jumps. SWISH! The firemen yank the blanket away, and the lady is flattened on the pavement like a pancake.
Finally, the Blonde steps to the edge of the roof. Again, the firemen yell, "Jump! You have to jump!"
"No way! You're just gonna pull the blanket away!" yelled the Blonde.
"No! Really! You have to jump! We won't pull the blanket away!"
"Look," the Blonde says. "Nothing you say is gonna convince me that you're not gonna pull the blanket away! So what I want you to do is put the blanket down, and back away from it..."
緊急脱出
黒髪、赤髪、そして金髪女性が燃え上がるビルから逃げるために屋根に登って行く。消防士は下の道で毛布を広げ、飛び降りられるように待ち構えている。消防士が黒髪に向かって叫ぶ、「ジャンプ！ジャンプだ！生き残る唯一のチャンスだぞ！」 黒髪はジャンプし、そしてサッ！ 消防士は毛布を引いてしまう。黒髪は歩道にトマトのように歩道に突っ込んで潰れる。「おい！ジャンプだ！ジャンプしろ！」と消防士は赤髪に言う。
「やだわ！毛布をどかしちゃうじゃないの！」と赤髪は言う。
「違う！黒髪がいやだっただけだ！赤髪はおれたちは問題ない！」
「分かったわ」と赤髪は言い、ジャンプする。 サッ！ 消防士は毛布を引いてしまい、女性は舗装路でホットケーキのように平らに潰れる。
ついに、金髪が屋根の端まで進み寄る。また消防士は叫ぶ、「ジャンプ！ジャンプしろ！」
「だめよ！毛布をどかすに決まってるわ！」と金髪が叫ぶ。
「違う！ほんとだ！ジャンプしなきゃだめだ！毛布をどかしたりしないから！」
「ちょっと、」金髪は言う。「あなた達が何を言っても私は毛布を引かないって納得しないわ！だからこうしてちょうだい、その毛布を下に置いて、後ろに下がってちょうだい．．．」
