Alligator Shoes
A young blonde was on vacation in the depths of Louisiana. She wanted a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way, but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking. After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted,"Maybe I'll just go out and catch my own alligator so I can get a pair of shoes at a reasonable price!"
The shopkeeper said, "By all means, be my guest. Maybe you'll luck out and catch yourself a big one!"
Determined, the blonde turned and headed for the swamps, set on catching herself an alligator. Later in the day, the shopkeeper is driving home, When he spots the young woman standing waist deep in the water, shotgun in hand. Just then, he sees a huge 12 foot alligator swimming quickly toward her.
She takes aim, kills the creature and with a great deal of effort hauls it On to the swamp bank. Laying nearby were several more of the dead creatures.
The shopkeeper watches in amazement. Just then the blonde flips the alligator on it's back, and frustrated, shouts out,
"Darn it, this one isn't wearing any shoes either!"
ワニのくつ
若い金髪女性がルイジアナ州の奥地で休暇を取っていた。彼女は本物のワニのくつを欲しかったのだが、地元の人に高い金額をふっかけられてその金額を払いたくなかった。店員の「まあいいじゃん」といった態度に腹を立てた彼女はこう叫ぶ、「だったら自分でワニを捕まえてくるわ、そうしたらまともな金額でくつが手に入れられるから！」
店員は言う、「それもいいでしょう。運良く大きなのが捕まえられるかもしれないね！」
決心した彼女は沼に向かって行き、ワニを捕まえる用意をする。その日の後ほど、さっきの店員が車で帰る途中、若い女性が腰まで水に浸かり、ショットガンを手に持っているのを見つける。するとちょうどその時、１０メートルもあるとてつもなく大きなワニが素早く彼女の方に泳いでいく。
彼女は狙いを定めると、ワニを撃ち殺し、大変な苦労をしながら、沼べりに放り投げる。そばには何匹かの死んだワニが横たわっている。
店員は驚愕の思いで見守る。すると、金髪女性はワニを仰向けにひっくり返し、いらいらしてこう叫ぶ、
「もう！このワニもくつなんか履いてないじゃないの！」
