A: No.
Q: Did you check for blood pressure?
A: No.
Q: Did you check for breathing?
A: No.
Q: So, then it is possible that the patient was alive when you began the autopsy?
A: No.
Q: How can you be so sure, Doctor?
A: Because his brain was sitting on my desk in a jar.
Q: But could the patient have still been alive nevertheless?
A: Yes, it is possible that he could have been alive and practicing law somewhere.

Q:　息をしているか確かめましたか？
A:　いいえ。
Q:　それでは、患者は死体解剖を始めた際にまだ生きていた可能性もあるわけですね？
A:　いいえ。
Q:　なぜ間違いないと言えるのでしょう？先生。
A:　なぜなら彼の脳が机の上のビンの中に入っていたからです。
Q:　しかしながら、そうだとしても患者がまだ生きているという事はあり得ませんか？
A:　はい、彼がまだ生きていて、どこかで法律関係の仕事をしている可能性はありますね。
