Hearing Aids
Seems an elderly gentleman had serious hearing problems for a number of years.
He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%.
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, "Your hearing is perfect. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again."
To which the gentleman said, "Oh, I haven't told my family yet. I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I've changed my will three times!"
補聴器
あるお年よりは何年もの間、耳がほとんど聞こえない状態でした。その老人は病院に行き、お医者さんが老人に補聴器を付けさせると、老人は100%問題なく聞こえるようになりました。
老人は約一ヵ月後に同じお医者さんの所に行きます。お医者さんは言います。「あなたの聞き取りはもう完璧ですよ。ご家族もあなたが聞こえるようになってさぞやお喜びでしょう。」
それに対して老人は言います。「ああ、まだ家族には言っておらんのだ。その辺に普通に座って家族の話に耳を傾けておる。あれから遺書を３回も書き換えたよ！」
