I Didn't Know You Were...
A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night and have dinner with her parents. This being a big event, the girl tells her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and "do it" for the first time. Well, the boy is ecstatic, but he has never done it before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some protection. The pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy everything there is to know about protection and doing it. At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many he'd like to buy; a 3-pack, a 10-pack, or a family pack. The boy insists on the family pack because he thinks he will be very busy, it being his first time and all.
That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parent's house and meets his girlfriend at the door. "Oh I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in." The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say graceand bows his head. A minute passes, and the boy still deep in prayer with his head down. Ten minutes pass and still no movement from the boy. Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend leans over and whispers to her boyfriend, "I had no idea you were so religious." The boy turns and whispers back, "I had no idea your father was a pharmacist."
君が．．．だったなんて知らなかった
少女がボーイフレンドを金曜の夜に家に招き、両親と一緒に食事をすることになった。記念すべきその日、少女は食事が終わったら二人で外出し初めて「したい」という事をボーイフレンドに伝える。当然少年は天にも昇る気持ちだったが、彼は一度もしたことが無かった。それで薬局に行って避妊具を買ってくることにした。薬剤師は少年に一時間かけてレクチャーした。薬剤師は少年に避妊に関する事、「する」事、すべて必要な知識を教えた。レジでの支払の際、薬剤師は少年にいくつ欲しいのか聞く。3個入りか、10個入りか、それともお徳用のいっぱい入ったやつか。少年はこれが初めてできっとたくさん必要になるからと、お徳用のいっぱい入ったやつが良いと言う。その晩、少年は彼女の両親の家に行き、ドアの所で彼女に挨拶する。「ああ、私の両親に紹介するのが嬉しくてたまらないわ。さあ入って。」少年は中に入り、彼女の両親が座っている食卓に連れて行かれる。少年は素早く食事の祈りを捧げたい事を言うと、頭を垂れる。１分程経つが、少年はいまだ頭を垂れて深くお祈りをしている。10分が経つが、少年はまだ動かない。ついに少年が頭を垂れたまま20分が過ぎ、少年の彼女が耳元でこうささやく。「あなたがそんなに信仰深いなんてまったく知らなかったわ。」少年は彼女の方を向くとこうささやき返す。「君のお父さんが薬剤師だったなんてまったく知らなかったよ。」
