The End is Near!
A local priest and a pastor were fishing on the side of the road. They thoughtfully made a sign saying, "The End is Near! Turn yourself around now before it's too late!" and showed it to each passing car.
One driver who drove by didn't appreciate the sign and shouted at them, "Leave us alone, you religious nuts!"
All of a sudden they heard a big splash, looked at each other, and the priest said to the pastor, "You think maybe we should have just said 'Bridge Out' instead?"
終わりが近づいている！
地元の神父と牧師が道の脇で釣りをしていた。彼らは皆のために看板を作る。「終わりが近づいている！手遅れになる前に引き返しなさい！」 この看板を二人は通り行く自動車に対して掲げていた。一台の車が通り過ぎたが、この看板を少しも有難く思わず、神父と牧師に向かって罵声を浴びせる。「ほっときやがれ、この宗教狂いどもが！」
すると二人の耳に水がはねる大きな音が聞こえる。ザブーン！そして神父が牧師に向かって言う。「もしかしたら、単に「橋が落ちてるぞ！」と書いた方が良くないか？」
