White Hair
One day a little girl was sitting and watching her mother do the dishes at the kitchen sink. She suddenly noticed that her mother had several strands of white hair sticking out in contrast to her brunette hair.
She looked at her mother and inquisitively asked, "Why are some of your hairs white, Mom?"
Her mother replied, "Well, every time that you do something wrong and make me cry or unhappy, one of my hairs turns white.
The little girl thought about this revelation for a while and then said, "Momma, how come ALL of grandma's hairs are white?"
白髪
ある日小さな女の子がお母さんがキッチンのシンクで洗い物をするのを座って見てい ました。少女は急にお母さんの黒髪の中に目立って生えている白い毛が何本か飛び出 しているのに気づきます。少女はお母さんに興味本位で聞きます。「ママ、なんでママの髪の毛は白いのが交じ ってるの？」
お母さんは答えます。「あのね、あなたが何か間違った事をして私のことを泣かせたりとか、不幸せな気分にさせるたびに、髪の毛が一本白くなってしまうのよ。」
少女はこの意外な事実に対してしばらく考えました。そしてこう言います。「ママ、 おばあちゃんの髪の毛が全部白いのはなぜ？」
