Who's the best?
The LAPD, The FBI, and the CIA are all trying to prove that they are the best at apprehending criminals. The President decides to give them a test. He releases a rabbit into a forest and each of them has to catch it.The CIA goes in. They place animal informants throughout the forest. They question all plant and mineral witnesses. After three months of extensive investigations they conclude that rabbits do not exist.
The FBI goes in. After two weeks with no leads they burn the forest, killing everything in it, including the rabbit, and they make no apologies. The rabbit had it coming.
The LAPD goes in. They come out two hours later with a badly beaten bear. The bear is yelling:
"Okay! Okay! I'm a rabbit! I'm a rabbit!"
どこが一番すごい？
ロサンゼルス市警とＦＢＩとＣＩＡがどこが一番犯罪者の逮捕にかけて一番か競っていた。見かねた大統領は彼らを試してみる。大統領はウサギを森に放ち彼らに捕まえるように言った。まずＣＩＡが先に立つ。ＣＩＡは動物の情報屋を森中に配置。ＣＩＡはすべての植物や土などの証言を洗う。3ヶ月間の包括的な調査を終え、ＣＩＡはウサギが存在しないと結論づける。
ＦＢＩが次に行く。2週間かけて何も見つけられなかったＦＢＩは森を焼き放ち、捕まえるはずのウサギを含めすべての生き物を殺してしまうが、謝罪も無い。ＦＢＩはすべてウサギが悪いのだと言う。
ロサンゼルス市警の番。彼らは2時間後にたいそう痛めつけられた熊を連れて出て来る。熊はこう叫んでいる。
「分かった、分かった！ おれがウサギだ！」
