Adam Strays
When Adam stayed out very late for a few nights, Eve became upset. "You're running around with other women," she told her mate.
"Eve, honey, you're being unreasonable," Adam responded. "You know you're the only woman on earth."
The quarrel continued until Adam fell asleep, only to be awakened by a strange pain in the chest. It was his darling Eve poking him rather vigorously about the torso."What do you think you're doing?" Adam demanded.
"Counting your ribs," said Eve.
アダムの浮気
アダムが何日か続けて帰宅が遅くなった。イブは怒ってしまい、パートナーのアダムに対してこう言う。「あなた他の女と遊び回ってるんでしょう！」アダムが返事をする。「イブ、君さ、言ってることがおかしいよ。君がこの世界で唯一の女性だってこと分かってるだろう？」
しかし口論は続き、アダムはいつの間にか寝てしまった。そして目が覚めるとなぜか胸に痛みが走っている。見るとイブが彼の胸の辺りをかなり強く押しているのだ。
アダムは怒ってこう聞く。「一体何をしてるんだ？」
「肋骨を数えてるのよ。」とイブが言う。
