Birth Pain
A married couple went to he hospital to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mother's labor pain to the father.He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favor of it. The doctor set the pain transfer dial to 10% for starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before.
But as the labor progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine. The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing.
At this point they decided to try for 50%.
The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out his wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him. The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain.
She and her husband were ecstatic. When they got home, the mailman was dead on their porch.
お産の痛み
ある夫婦が赤ん坊が生まれるので病院に行った。 子供が産まれる直前、医者が母親のお産の痛みを父親に分けるある新しい機械を発明したと伝える。医者は彼らにやってみるか聞く。 夫婦は両方とも大変気に入った。 医者はダイアルを１０％に合わせ、１０％でさえ父親が今まで味わったことの無いほどの痛みだろうと伝える。
しかし、お産が進むが、夫はまったく平気で、ダイアルをもっと回せと医者に言う。 医者は機械を２０％に合わせる。 夫はそれでも全然問題無かった。 医者は夫の血圧を測り、彼が極めて良好な状態な事に驚きを隠せなかった。
そのため彼らは５０％まで試してみることにする。
夫はしかしながら全然問題が無さそうだった。 この機械が妻のお産の苦しみを明らかに和らげているのが見える夫はいっそのことすべての痛みを自分に転送してくれと言う。 妻は結局健康な子供をほぼ無痛で出産するにいたる。
妻と夫は狂喜する。 彼らが家に帰ると、ポーチでは郵便局員が死んでいた．．
