Family Vacation
The telephone rings in the principal's office at a school.
"Hello, this is Dunn Elementary," answers the principal.
"Hi. Jimmy won't be able to come to school all next week," replies the voice.
"Well, what seems to be the problem with him?"
"We are all going on a family vacation," says the voice, "I hope it is all right."
"I guess that would be fine," says the principal. "May I ask who is calling?"
"Sure. This is my father!"

学校で校長先生のオフィスの電話が鳴る。「はい、ダン小学校です。」と校長先生が電話に出る。
「もしもし。ジミーは来週学校に行くことが出来ません。」と電話の相手が言う。
「おや、彼に何か問題が発生したんですか？」
「家族旅行に出かけるんです。大変申し訳ないのですが。」と電話の相手が言う。
「それなら仕方が無いですね。確認のためどなたが電話されているか教えていただけますか？」と校長は確認する。
「はい。僕のお父さんです。」
