I Love You So Much That...
At the pre-birth class for couples who'd already had at least one child the instructor raised the question of how to break the news to an older child.
"Some parents tell the older child, 'We love you so much that we decided to bring another child into our family.'""But think about that for a second. Ladies, what if your husband came home one day and said, 'Honey, I love you so much I decided to bring home another wife.'?"
One of the women spoke up right away, "Does she cook?"

既に子供が一人はいる夫婦を集めた両親学級で、講師の先生が上の子にどうやって知らせるべきか、という質問を投げかけます。「たまに上の子にこうやって伝える両親が居ます。『あなたのことを本当に愛していて、子供って素晴らしいと思ったからもう一人家族に入れることにしたのよ』」
「でもちょっと考えてみてください。女性陣、もしあなたの夫が家に帰ってきてこう言ったらどうします？『君のことを本当に愛しているからもう一人妻を家に入れることにしたよ。』」
すると一人の女性がすぐにこう答えます。「その女は料理出来る？」
